RON ENGLISH has beautifully reinterpreted the infamous imagery of Picasso's masterpiece by placing Ron's iconic cast of characters. This beautiful work of art was first spotted in the Wynwood section of Miami, and SohoDH took upon the task of weaving this immaculate work into a beautiful,luxurious, wool rug. Over 1.3 million wool knots, woven by hand created this rug. We know the owner of this masterpiece will be in awe by the beautiful detailing of this 12ft x 6ft historic rug.

Guernica is a painting by Pablo Picasso. It was created in response to the bombing of Guernica, a Basque Country village in northern Spain, by German and Italian warplanes at the behest of the Spanish Nationalist forces on 26 April 1937 during the Spanish Civil War. Guernica shows the tragedies of war and the suffering it inflicts upon individuals, particularly innocent civilians.
